Is Maple Brighter Than Rosewood? [Solved]
Maple fretboards provide a lighter, brighter sound than rosewood, which is why they’re often used on guitars that are played for country and pop. The high-end frequencies are more pronounced, giving maple a “snap” that some guitarists prefer.
